![]() Its been decommissioned for about 2 years now. ![]() The previous consulting group had Websense installed on the Exchange server. I thought maybe "Content Gateway?" so I googled it, and I got hits for " I also don't use the default "users" OU :-) This was nothing I created because I put descriptions in service accounts. So I am sitting here thinking what the heck the "cgatepvs" could be. ![]() I returned a result! A user account called "cgatepvs" that was in the default "user" OU. ![]() Text adfind -f "servicePrincipalName=http/" -gcb Oh, if it matters, we are running Exchange 2010. No big deal, I enter the info, click next, enter my credentials, they are accepted, and boom, my email loads. If I am off the LAN (for example my home wifi) and I try and create my outlook profile, it works fine! My name and email are not populated when I open outlook for the first time. When I cancel the credentials prompt, the application crashes. When I click next, it prompts me for credentials (which is odd to me, because it should just pass my windows credentials) Any credentials I try and type in are rejected (I have tried domain\username, and my email address). When I open Outlook 2016 for the first time, it populates my name and email as I would expect. I tried the registry entries as described. Basically the issue appears exactly like described in this KB article I am unable to create a new email profile in Outlook 2016 on our LAN. I have not run across a problem this weird in a very long time.
